As we reach the end of another wonderful school year at AES, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks for your support and cooperation. Your involvement has been crucial in making this year a success.
I hope you and your family enjoy a relaxing and fun summer break. While I encourage our students to explore and learn new things during this time, I also want to stress the importance of reading. Studies have shown that students who read often over the summer maintain and even improve their reading skills, while those who do not read on a regular basis experience a decline. Encouraging your child to read a little each day can make a major difference.
I also want to express my gratitude to our teachers and/or staff members who are retiring or moving to new positions. Your dedication and hard work has made a difference in our school.
Please note that the school office will remain open during the month of July. We look forward to welcoming students back for the first day of school on Wednesday, August 7th.
